Smile Bandages Cover a Multitude of Pain by vertie pringle-reid
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is very inspirational. The author is very real in sharing about herself and the children in the system. A few tears, and plenty of laughter. SMILE BANDAGES will show you God's power in whatever obstables you may be facing in life's trials.

Texas Dreams by Linda Herring
Rating: 5 Stars
What a great book! It is actually four continuing stories in one 459-page book. Linda Herring writes of a Texas pioneer family and the many struggles and joys of living in the Texas Hill Country. Mary Anna Thornton was the perfect brave, smart, God-loving heroine. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good Western adventure with a bit of love and romance.

Donna
Nevaeh and Natas: A Spiritual Fantasy by D'Maria Scaglione
Rating: 5 Stars
This beautifully covered book (a work of art in itself by graphic artist Kenn Hepner) is about an Angel of Grace who is sent to Earth by God, to deal with the Son of Satan. She is born with Ocular Albinism, and has no recollection of her being an angel. Can she save the world from demonic forces? Will she find her way back home to Heaven?

Most appropriate for ages 12 and up, it has some sad moments, but all in all, everything comes around in a beautiful circle of life.

Rekindled by Tamera Alexander
Rating: 5 Stars
God always wants the best for us, but sometimes he has to allow things to happen to develop us into the person he has intended.

This is a story about a husband and a wife. She thought he was dead, and he did not think she would accept him the way he was now.

It is a story of God grace, protection and guidance even when things seems to be going all wrong.

90 Minutes in Heaven by Don Piper, Cecil Murphey Rating: 5 Stars
This was a wonderful and inspiring story. The pacing was quick and I just kept wondering how Don could have endured so much after he came back to life. I really enjoyed it!

A Bride Most Begrudging by Deeanne Gist
Wonderful book! I know others will really enjoy it. Deeanne is a wonderful author who cares about her fans. I love her books and read all I can get my hands on!

Cynthia
The Forgiving Hour by Robin Lee Hatcher
Rating: 4 Stars
I liked this book, of course, I like the author anyway. She uses her characters as an opportunity to expound on God's Word.

The Preacher's Daughter by Beverly Lewis
Rating: 5 Stars
I really enjoy Ms. Lewis's books about the Amish and so many other good Christian books.

Renee Franzen (tfranzen2124@comcast.net)
Gilead by Marilynne Robinson
Rating: 5 Stars
A beautiful story of an aging, dying, minister writing a letter to his young son. This is unlike any book I have ever read --- moving, deep, and full of wisdom.
