Janette Oke! She's the best because I enjoy historical fiction. Her books are not just fluffy romance. I also enjoy where she sets the stories for her books, mostly in western Canada where I lived for 14 years.

dmcowling@shaw.ca
My favourite author would be Philip Yancey.

spencer117@sympatico.ca
Jan Karon, Brock and Bodie Thoene, Traci Peterson, Beverly Lewis --- there are so many, I cannot pick just one! This is really impossible for me. I read constantly, and I love all these authors and more!!

debbie7952@valornet.com

I can't choose between Frank Peretti and Stephen Lawhead. They are very different writers, but both have had major impact on my life as a Christian.

twiga92@yahoo.com
Liz Curtis Higgs. I really enjoy her nonfiction books and have also read some of her fiction. Mixed Signals was one of the best books I've ever read. I am also hooked on her current series starting with Thorn in My Heart. Historical fiction is not a favorite genre of mine, yet Liz has me running to buy the next book in this series. A truly talented author.

Without a doubt Philip Yancey. For the past 4 years anyway, since I first discovered his books here in South Africa. I love his sober yet very real and honest approach to Christianity.
