Janette Oke! She's the best because I enjoy historical fiction. Her books are not just fluffy romance. I also enjoy where she sets the stories for her books, mostly in western Canada where I lived for 14 years.

I can't choose between Frank Peretti and Stephen Lawhead. They are very different writers, but both have had major impact on my life as a Christian.

Liz Curtis Higgs. I really enjoy her nonfiction books and have also read some of her fiction. Mixed Signals was one of the best books I've ever read. I am also hooked on her current series starting with Thorn in My Heart. Historical fiction is not a favorite genre of mine, yet Liz has me running to buy the next book in this series. A truly talented author.
