Tell us about one of your fondest library memories.
Mizbooks The library in the town where I used to live was a small brick building, with a lot of empty space, and books lining the walls. The librarian there, Kate, was always the best --- she gave 110% every time. She'd always go the extra mile to make sure her patrons were satisfied with their library experience. And for that, I'll always remember Kate, the Librarian. :o)

Betty I have many, many fond memories of public libraries that I have been fortunate to use over my lifetime, starting with only being able to check out 2 books at a time growing up, to taking my adult daughter to 'story time' when she was a toddler, to being able to take home 30 books at a local library's book exchange to complete several series that I have been reading.
However, my very fondest memories are from the 7 years that I was able to volunteer at a local public library. I looked forward each week to the time I spent there and loved every minute! It was exceptional training for my next step, which was completely re-doing the library at the church I was attending.
Being able to visit any one of 13 libraries in my county is still a favorite pasttime.
