THE DA VINCI CODE Author Roundtable

15. FaithfulReader.com: What are you working on now?

James L. Garlow: I'm simply trying to keep up with all the radio interviews, TV interviews and print journalism interviews that have been stirred by our book CRACKING DA VINCI'S CODE. I had no time to think of anything else since our book came out.

Peter Jones: A book on sex.

Amy Wellborn: My next book, coming out in the fall from Loyola Press, is called THE WORDS WE PRAY: Discovering the Richness of Traditional Catholic Prayer. I also have a Scripture study on the account of the Passion in Matthew's Gospel coming out in the fall from Loyola.

I'm also the general editor of an exciting new series of books forthcoming from Loyola, beginning in February 2005. I don't think I'm at liberty to talk about that quite yet, though!

Steve Kellmeyer: Several things, actually. A book on medieval and Renaissance artwork I started two years ago is finally nearly ready for publication. It shows you how to find the Catholic doctrines that Catholic artists like Raphael, Michelangelo and Leonardo embedded into their paintings. I also have another book on several questions in Catholic history that should release this year or early next year. I'm putting together a weekly appointment calendar that teaches Catholic doctrine on indulgences. And I'm always promoting my book on Christian sexuality --- SEX AND THE SACRED CITY, which released this past January. There are several more projects in various stages of completion. We'll see if I get them done in a timely fashion.

Darrell L. Bock: A full commentary on the book of Acts and more work on the history of the early church in the first few centuries of her existence.

Sandra Miesel: I'm researching a series of articles for Crisis on the history of Heaven, Purgatory and Hell.

Ben Witherington III: A commentary on Matthew for Smyth and Helwys.

Richard Abanes: I am currently working on my own novel, but it will be infinitely more accurate, historically speaking, than Dan Brown's --- I can assure you of that.

Carl E. Olson: I have two other books in the works, one on apologetics and another on Catholic eschatology.

Dan Burstein: A coded answer is buried in my responses to the previous questions.

Erwin W. Lutzer: I've just finished a book titled THE TRUTH ABOUT SAME SEX MARRIAGE.
